Privacy policy

This is the website of MoveIt Logistics, a proprietorship that takes work on any lane in India. We have written this page in plain English rather than in legal language. It is not a lawyer-reviewed document; it is an honest description of what we actually do. We have written it with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 in mind.

What we collect

Only what you type into a form on this site, or send to us yourself by WhatsApp, phone or email. Depending on the form, that can be your name, your mobile number, your email address, your company, your city or area, details of your vehicle, details of a lane, and whatever you write in the message box.

We do not ask for identity documents, bank details or payment details through this website, and you should not send them through it.

Why we collect it

To reply to your enquiry and to call you back about it.
To consider a vehicle you have offered to attach with us.
To consider a job application you have sent.

That is all. We do not use your details for advertising, we do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not sell or rent them to anybody.

Who handles it on our behalf

Web3Forms receives what you submit through a form on this site and delivers it to us by email.
Google (Gmail) hosts the mailbox that those emails arrive in.
Render hosts this website.

Each of these is used for the purpose above and nothing else. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to what they hold.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party scripts today. Nothing on it tracks you across other websites. If that ever changes, we will say so on this page before it changes, and we will name what is being used.

Our hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs, as every web host does. We do not use them to build a picture of any visitor.

How long we keep it

As long as it is needed for the enquiry, the working relationship or the application it relates to. After that we delete it, and we will delete it sooner if you ask.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

tell you what details of yours we hold;
correct anything that is wrong;
delete what we hold;
withdraw your consent to our keeping it.

This is a business site. It is not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect the details of anyone under 18.
